Retail pilot: workspace for purchasing

A pilot retail workspace: see the store overview, move to purchasing and review an individual product. The workflow below explains the approach without exposing client data.

From the overview to a specific action

The person responsible starts with the store overview, sees what needs attention and opens the relevant product. The data source and freshness should be clear when making a decision.

What the workspace brings together

  • Store overview, procurement workspace, and product card modules.
  • Dedicated data freshness checks and source status displays.
  • Separation between the viewing interface and decisions made by the assignee.

Operational workflow

Each screen answers a different question: what is happening, what needs attention, what is known about the product and what to do next.

  1. Store overview

Consolidate necessary operational context on a single screen.

  2. Procurement

Navigate to items that require review.

  3. Product card

Review available data and its supporting source.

  4. Human decision

Verify the context before taking the next step.

Pilot project status

The pilot is developing. This page explains the approach and workflow. Verified savings or sales growth figures are not yet available.

How to begin similar work

First, we select one operational task and verify read-only access to the required source. After that, we determine what can be reliably displayed, what requires clarification, and how to accept the result.

Implementation details

Data and source diagnostics are a separate, scoped engagement. Automated ordering, writing back to the primary system, and accounting migration do not follow from such a pilot.

Let's discuss one operational scenario and available data sources.
